EMC provides its clients with an accurate depiction of the existing bottom conditions with our state-of-the-art hydrographic surveying equipment. Our services are used to determine whether there is clearance for a safe navigational channel for all vessels in the ports, harbor and waterways throughout the United States. There surveys are usually performed after an incident that could possible cause an impediment to safe navigation. Therefore, these surveys are generally conducted in emergency situation which is calls for a rapid response. Additionally, the ever changing bottom of these navigational channels regular requires EMC perform maintenance surveys ensuring our clients that these waterways are safely navigatable.

In addition to ensure the safe passage for vessels, EMC also has years of experience providing its clients with precise horizontal and vertical data collection and processing for dredge construction surveys. All or a combination of the following equipment was used to perform the critical needs surveys: Multibeam sonar, side-scan sonar and magnetometer.
